Gannon University is continuing its tradition of Day of Caring with about 500 名媛直播 students, faculty and staff expected to answer the call for service at more than 20 locations on Saturday, April 20.

This initiative will be spread out throughout Erie County, with volunteers going to many service sites within the neighborhoods adjacent to 名媛直播’s downtown Erie campus, and other locations as far to the west as the YMCA’s Camp Sherwin, and to the east as the Benedictine Sisters in Harborcreek.

Notable projects include Urban Erie CDC:
Volunteers will work with Urban Erie CDC to clean up classrooms and the gymnasium in the former Burton School.

Our West Bayfront:
Volunteers will visit various locations in Our West Bayfront, including Gridley Park, to mulch, plant flowers, pick up yard debris and litter, paint benches, rake leaves and distribute flyers.

USCRI (US Committee on Refugees and Immigrants):
Volunteers will work with USCRI staff to help prepare community garden beds that will be used for the New American communities coming to Erie.
